Checking the status of your shipment(s) online is the quickest and most convenient method available. You don't need to create an account, remember a password, or make any phone calls, which can often be time-consuming and frustrating. All you need to do is have the consignment waybill number(s) ready, and you can easily track your shipment's progress from the comfort of your home or office, at any time that suits you. This hassle-free process ensures that you stay informed about your package's location and estimated delivery time without any unnecessary complications.

What is a tracking consignment tracking number/ID?

A consignment tracking number or ID is a unique identifier assigned to your shipment, consisting of a specific combination of numbers and/or letters. This identifier is crucial for tracking the progress and location of your package as it moves through the shipping process. The length of this ID can vary significantly, ranging from 10 to 39 characters, depending on the shipping company and the complexity of their tracking system. This variation in length allows for a vast number of unique combinations, ensuring that each shipment can be distinctly identified and monitored from the point of origin to its final destination.

 

Why isn’t my package showing up when I type in my shipment number?

It can take up to an hour for a shipment to appear in our system. This delay is due to the time it takes for our system to process and update the information from the moment your parcel is dispatched. During this period, the tracking details are being synchronized with our database to ensure accuracy and reliability. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but rest assured that this process is essential for providing you with the most up-to-date information. Give it a bit of time, and then try tracking your parcel again. Once the shipment details are fully integrated, you will be able to see the current status and location of your package. Shipments stay in our system for approximately 90 days, allowing you ample time to track and review the journey of your parcel from dispatch to delivery.

When will my tracking information appear?

You should expect to see tracking events appear within a timeframe of 24 to 48 hours after you have received the confirmation from our operations agents. This period allows for the necessary processing and handling of your shipment. The reason it takes this amount of time to see tracking events is because the first event is generated only once the shipment has been officially handed over to us. This means that the shipment must have successfully departed from the fulfillment center, which occurs after all the required export documents have been meticulously prepared and put in place. This process ensures that everything is in order for the shipment to proceed smoothly through the subsequent stages of its journey.

Transocean Logistics tells me I’ve missed my delivery. Can I rearrange it?

Certainly. If the driver left a ‘We Missed You’ card at your address, you or your customer can use the information provided on the card to easily arrange another delivery at a time that suits you. This card typically contains instructions on how to reschedule the delivery, either through a phone call or an online portal, ensuring a convenient and hassle-free process. If you did not receive a card, don’t worry. Simply get in touch with our customer service team, who are ready to assist you in setting up a new delivery attempt. You will need to have your shipment number and the delivery address readily available when you contact us, as this information is crucial for us to locate your package and arrange the redelivery. Please be aware that shipments can only be redelivered on weekdays, specifically from Monday to Friday, so plan accordingly to ensure someone is available to receive the package.

Why is my shipment status unchanged?

For most shipments, we provide only milestone tracking which means it may take some time before a new tracking event is displayed. Your package continues to travel to its destination despite the time between the tracking events. Depending on the destination, it could also take time to arrive in the destination country due to the distance and transit time of the selected service.

Your shipment might also be delayed. Delivery delays can be caused by events beyond the control of Transocean Logistics, e.g. weather events, local disruptions like public holidays, customs or strikes. In the event your shipment has not arrived within 10 days after the expected delivery time, kindly contact your merchant or online shop. The merchant or online shop as our contract partner can start an investigation for lost items.

Please also note that some packages only have limited tracking events in the country of origin and no tracking events in the destination country.

Why is my tracking ID not working?

If you find that your consignment tracking ID is not functioning properly or you encounter any issues while trying to track your shipment, we kindly ask you to reach out to your designated operations agent. They are equipped to assist you with any problems you may be experiencing and can provide you with the necessary support to resolve the issue promptly.

If I do not have my tracking number, is it still possible to track my shipment?

If you do not have a tracking number, we strongly recommend that you reach out to your shipper or Operations Agents directly. They will be able to provide you with the necessary information or assist you in obtaining a tracking number. This is crucial for monitoring the progress of your shipment and ensuring its timely delivery. However, if you possess other shipping reference numbers, such as order numbers or consignment numbers, these may also be useful. You can try entering them into the shipment tracking systems of the specific business unit responsible for handling your shipment. These systems are designed to recognize various types of reference numbers and can often provide you with detailed tracking information, helping you stay informed about the status and location of your package.
